OMG! Imran Khan Rents Mumbai Apartment With Girlfriend Lekha Washington For Rs 9 Lakh Per Month- Read REPORTS
Actor and filmmaker Imran Khan has been making the headlines for quite some time now. Having created a huge impact and garnered a lot of fans for his fluffy rom-coms during the late 2000s and early 2010s, he stopped working in the entertainment industry after a series of flops. In recent interviews he has openly spoken about his separation from his wife Avantika Malik and the mental health struggles he went through while he should have been enjoying the peak of his career. Currently in a happy relationship with his girlfriend Lekha Washington, he is all set to take their relationship to the next level.

As per a report by the Hindustan Times, Imran and Lekha have reportedly rented an apartment from filmmaker Karan Johar in Mumbai. Based in Bandra, the sea-facing, three-storey apartment was leased to the couple for Rs 9 lakh. The apartment is located at Carter Road’s Clefepete, next to his uncle Aamir Khan’s previously rented apartment. According to the HT report, the deal was registered on March 20. As per the real-estate database platform Zapkey, the apartment has been leased to the couple for a tenure of three years. Before renting the apartment, he lived in his bungalow, located in Bandra’s Pali Hill. Talking about his personal life, the 41-year-old actor was earlier married to Avantika Malik. Having tied the knot in 2011, they separated in 2019. Despite being divorced, they co-parent their daughter Imara. During a recent interview with Vogue India, Imran opened up about his relationship with Lekha Washington and confirmed that he and his ex-wife separated in February 2019. Dismissing the claims of Lekha being a homewrecker, he stated, “There’s this narrative of Lekha being a homewrecker, which infuriates me because not only is it misogynistic, but it also takes away my agency as an individual. Lekha and I grew close during the lockdown, a year and a half after I had been separated from Avantika and almost a year after she had separated from her partner, not husband as it has been widely reported.”

On the work front, Imran has acted in credible movies like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Delhi Belly, I Hate Love Stories, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. Last seen as an actor in Katti Batti alongside Kangana Ranaut, he made his directorial debut in 2018 with the short film Mission Mars: Keep Walking India. Fans have been eagerly waiting for him to mark his acting comeback soon.
